Like many organizations, Guthrie County State Bank (GCSB) was looking to assist its traditional customers in adapting to a new way of doing online business. At the same time, GCSB was looking to increase public awareness of its newly developed brand and bring its tagline to life. The new tagline, "Connecting Communities", is an integral part of GCSB’s vision for its future and direction for doing business.
With help from Ann Appleseth Communications, DVision, and DWebware, GCSB was able to offer an enticing promotional giveaway that gathered information from interested customers through an interactive marketing campaign. GCSB was able to engage its customers and garner valuable responses by implementing a custom promotion application, developed by DWebware, into its existing website. GCSB was then able to use the information to gain a better understanding of its customers and how the bank can reach them through future marketing efforts.
GCSB collected information from 263 interested customers in a 30 day period, 72% of which were collected online using the promotional application. The best part about the newly developed application is that it is reusable. Whenever GCSB wants to run a promotion, they activate the application and link to it from their homepage slider (shown above).
